Skills are reusable workflow files that turn AI agents into specialists. Each skill is a markdown file containing structured instructions -a step-by-step playbook that an AI follows to complete a specific task consistently and thoroughly.

How Skills Work

A skill is a markdown file with two parts:

1. YAML frontmatter -metadata describing what the skill does and when to use it
2. Markdown instructions -the step-by-step workflow to follow

When your request matches a skill's description, the AI automatically activates it and follows the instructions. You don't need to do anything special -just ask naturally and the skill takes over.

What Can Skills Do?

Instead of writing the same detailed prompt every time, a skill packages those instructions into a reusable workflow that:

• Follows a structured, multi-step research process
• Asks the right questions in the right order
• Uses connected tools (like OriginalVoices) at the right moments
• Delivers results in a consistent, professional format

Adding Skills

Skills follow the open Agent Skills standard and work across compatible AI tools. To add an OriginalVoices skill:

1. Download a skill from the Skills Library
2. Upload it to your AI assistant (e.g. in Claude: Customize > Skills > Click + > Upload a skill)
